Health - If you have health concerns about your children, the American Academy of Pediatrics' site provides excellent children's health information.
Media - Today's children have unprecedented access to information and experiences through computers, the internet, video games, TV, and cell phones. Common Sense Media gives parents critical information about digital media choices like the latest "must have" video games.
Safety - Keeping your children safe is a primary responsibility of all parents. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children provides resources for keeping kids safe.
Substance Abuse — Learn about the types of peer pressure students face, how to talk about the dangers of drug use and how to determine if your teen is using drugs at Parents.
Teen Drug Addiction - Teen Drug Abuse Statistics & Facts, and treatment options. Drug abuse can inflict severe — sometimes permanent — damage on your teen’s mind, body and future. Though drug use may begin casually, your teen may not realize that they risk addiction. If your child is abusing illicit substances, there is hope for recovery through treatment.
The Khan Academy is an organization on a mission. They are a not-for-profit with the goal of changing education for the better by providing a free world-class education to anyone anywhere.
All of the site's resources are available to anyone. It doesn't matter if you are a student, teacher, home-schooler, principal, adult returning to the classroom after 20 years, or a friendly alien just trying to get a leg up in earthly biology. IXL Math - Practice makes perfect, and IXL makes math practice fun! IXL allows teachers and parents to monitor the progress of their students and motivate them through interactive games and practice questions.
AAA Math - features a comprehensive set of interactive arithmetic lessons. Unlimited practice is available on each topic which allows thorough mastery of the concepts. A wide range of lessons (Kindergarten through Eighth grade level) enables learning or review to occur at each individual's current level. Number Nut -This site offers an introduction to mathematics and its variety of topics. It's not just for kids, it's for everyone (even if you aren't a number nut).
Tween Tribune (news for kids) - an opportunity to read high interest news stories about everyday people from around the world. Introduced in such an appealing way, Tribune stories are a great way to get students to read newspaper articles - and then to hear them comment.
Between the Lions - Get Wild about Reading. This site is sponsored by PBS Kids and has games, stories, and other activities that support reading.
Word World - Where words come alive. A great resource to support early literacy skills for children.
Storyline Online - The Screen Actors Guild Foundation provides this online streaming video program with childrens' stories being read aloud by SAG members.
Starfall - A free public service to teach children to read with phonics. Starfall utilizes a systematic phonics approach, in conjunction with phonemic awareness practice, and is perfect for preschool, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, special education, homeschool, and English language development (ELD, ELL, ESL). Starfall is an educational alternative to other entertainment choices for children.

Net Smartz - Is an interactive, educational safety resource from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. This site has games for students videos and Spanish resources.
