Cal-JAC is excited to host the first live “Life of a Firefighter” on YouTube on December 11 at 1 PM. The session will be presented by the Commission to Recruit Women for the Fire Service and will go over what the day-to-day looks like for a firefighter and how to prepare. Participants will learn about the fire service's unique culture, shift schedules, demands of the job, and what it's like to live and work at the firehouse. Participants can join the conversation at our Becoming A Firefighter YouTube channel and get their questions answered live.
