COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER DAY & CITY CELEBRATION
April 29th is Waterford’s annual community volunteer day. Our schools are partnering with Love Waterford to beautify our campuses by adding landscaping at Moon School and Waterford Jr. High School, painting the dugouts at Waterford High School, and expanding the garden at Lucille Whitehead. We would love to have you join us for our site project, but there are many other projects throughout the city to choose from as well. The community will meet at Waterford High School before projects start at 8am for the kick off rally, with the projects taking place afterwards from 9am - noon. Everyone is invited to return to Waterford High School when they are done for the CELEBRATION, where there will be a live band, food trucks, a vendor market, and free kids activities. If you can’t help at a project site that morning, you are still welcome to attend the celebration at Waterford High School from 11-3:30pm. Learn more, browse project options, and sign up for a project at LoveWaterford.org.
