It's hard to believe, but school starts next week! We're so excited to welcome all our students back to campus. As we gear up for the new school year, here are a few important reminders for the first few days: * Parents needing transportation assistance must complete a ridership application before their child can ride the bus. * Students must be registered and accepted into the After School Program to participate in after-school activities. * Back to School Night is on August 27. * Please plan ahead for the first several weeks, as roads and parking lots tend to be more congested. This ensures that we know you are returning, and that we have accurate student and parent information in case of emergencies. Students will not receive their schedules or class assignments until this important update is completed. Please log into your Infinite Campus (IC) Parent Portal to complete this update if you have not done so already. To access the update, scroll to the bottom of the IC homepage > online registration > required annual update. Yesterday, our CJSF students, accompanied by Mr. Reed and Miss Parker, ventured to University of the Pacific to tour the campus and explore academic, social, and extracurricular interests.

Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week was in full swing this week! The Tigercorn energy was off the charts, with daily staff activities, treats/meals, prizes, decorations, dress-up days, and more. We are so appreciative of our teachers and staff for all they do for our school each and every day!

Today marks National Fentanyl Awareness Day, and we want to ensure everyone in our school community is informed and empowered to make safe choices. Fentanyl is a potent synthetic opioid that poses a serious risk, especially when mixed with other substances. Here are a few key points to remember: 1️⃣ Fentanyl is incredibly strong – even a small amount can be fatal. 2️⃣ It's often mixed with other drugs like heroin, cocaine, marijuana, or counterfeit pills without notice, increasing the danger. 3️⃣ Education and open communication are crucial. Talk to your kids about the risks, and don't hesitate to ask questions or seek help if needed. Let's work together to raise awareness and keep our community safe.
