NANCY PEREZ
GIRLS' JV HEAD SOCCER COACH
The Wildcats Within
Hello, my name Milko Vasquez. As a first year head coach of girls’ soccer, I’m delighted to lead the fine ladies of Waterford High School. I have been to be married to a wonderful man, Robin Sue, for 33 years. We have four children and have recently welcomed our first grandson. This year marks my 30th year teaching Social Sciences, and my fifth year teaching at Waterford High School. Prior to Waterford, I spent sixteen years as a Douglas Tiger in Minden, Nevada. I also served as a Galt Warrior where I started the girls’ soccer program and coached boys soccer for five years.
My vision, goals, and outcomes are shared by our former Wildcat girls' soccer coach, Nancy Perez, who will be an assistant coach this year. The most important attribute any coach should strive for is to build a competitive team with a special focus on student athlete performance. While playing for me, the soccer pitch will become an extension of the classroom, and my student athletes will be held to their codes of conduct.
Personally, my focus will be on developing each girl's specific gifts, talents, and abilities - not just for their individual success, but so that they can become an asset to their team. I expect each of my athletes to be positive representatives of their team, Wildcat sports, our High School, and our community.
I am looking forward to getting to know each of my LadyCat athletes, and having an enjoyable and successful soccer season.
Sincerely,
Coach Vasquez
